Overview
The headline this week is a redesigned documentation experience built to reduce clicks and give practitioners a cleaner, full-page workspace, along with two targeted fixes to consent rollover and insurance date requirements.
Documentation Experience (Redesign)
- Updated — "Walk-in" renamed to "Document Session." The check-in action on a student's profile is now called Document Session.
- New — Full-page documentation workspace. Practitioners can now maximize the documentation area to full page, surfacing the most-used features (today's services, the progress dropdown, and file upload where applicable) without the side note-taking panel. The view can be minimized again at any time to bring back the right-hand panel.
- New — Double-click to add a service. Services can now be added to a session with a double-click, which populates them immediately — replacing the previous select-then-"Add to Session" step.
- New — Service descriptions displayed inline. A service's description now appears at the bottom of the documentation screen (for example, follow-up questions on an intake), where a description has been configured.
- Improved — Service templates open full-page. Service and note templates now auto-populate as a full page so practitioners can complete them without navigating to the right-hand panel.
- Improved — Auto-saving service template notes. Notes entered in a service template now save automatically. Hitting Complete returns the practitioner to the documentation page to add any additional services.
- Improved — Saved signatures. A practitioner's signature is now saved and auto-populates, so it doesn't need to be re-drawn each session. A "sign with a new signature for this session" option remains available for updates, followed by Confirm.
- Improved — Larger buttons. Buttons across the documentation page are larger for easier visibility and clicking.
Enrollment
- Fixed — Consent rollover for uploaded/file-based consents. Consents that were uploaded elsewhere or added as files were not rolling over correctly. The fix has been approved in pre-prod and deploys this week.
Insurance & Eligibility
- Fixed — Insurance start and end dates incorrectly required. Insurance start and end dates were unintentionally being required on the insurance screen (introduced by another change). Dates are no longer required, applied globally across all instances.
