Objective
This how-to article outlines the steps to create new custom services in Healthy Campus for administrators or supervisors.
Key Steps
1. Log In and Access Services Tab 0:25
- Log in to your Healthy Campus account.
- Navigate to the Services tab.
2. Access Custom Forms and Services 0:32
- Click on the Custom Forms and Services tab.
3. View Existing Services 0:45
- Scroll down to view all current active services.
- To edit an existing service, click on it to open the form editor.
4. Create a New Service Form 1:13
- Click on the Create Form button to start a new service.
5. Fill Out Service Details 1:37
- Enter a name for the service (e.g., Individual Counseling).
- Recommended: Specify the duration in the title (e.g., 15 minutes).
- Optionally, add a description.
6. Set Billing and Scoring Options 1:56
- Choose if the service is billable (typically select Yes).
- For scoring rules, select No unless creating a screener or assessment.
7. Select Diagnosis Code 2:25
- Choose a default diagnosis code. This can be updated during a service if the practitioner want to but it's not required.
- Use the search function to find the appropriate code.
8. Choose CPT Code 3:30
- Select a CPT code from the list (this code is generally fixed and cannot be edited per session).
- Refer to your clinical lead for questions about CPT or diagnosis codes!
9. Organize Service Category 4:07
- The system will categorize the service automatically.
- You can change the category if necessary, but it is recommended to stick with the default.
10. Build the Form 4:34
- Use the form builder to add fields (e.g., text boxes, multi-line text areas).
- Drag and drop different field types from the left-hand side.
11. Customize Form Fields 5:24
- Double-click on text fields to edit the questions
- Add multi-line text elements for longer notes.
12. Create Template Fields 6:27
- The fields you choose will depend on the type of service being rendered. In some cases, you may not include any form fields at all.
- For counseling forms, you may consider adding fields such as:
- Focus / Goal
- Intervention
- Response / Outcome
- Plan
- This will help guide the practitioners note-taking process.
13. Save the Form 7:28
- Click Create to save the form.
- The new service will now be available for use for any practitioner who is eligible to bill under the chosen CPT code.
Important Notes
- Ensure that all codes (diagnosis and CPT) are verified with clinical staff to avoid errors.
- Double-check the service details before saving to prevent any misconfigurations.
