Hello CYBHI Admins!
Carelon has recently announced that PaySpan is being phased out as the processing party and Zelis/EPaymentCenter is being phased in. You can now register for a free ePaymentCenter account to receive your payments.
Here are the steps to complete:
- Navigate to https://carelon.epayment.center/Registration and complete the registration form. You do not need a reg code for this new system!
- After 3-5 days an email will be sent to enroll
- After that, a 2nd email will be sent to create account and password
- Once the account is set up, you can login to set-up payment, banking information
- Once steps 1-4 are completed the start of verification will start
You can call EPC if you have any questions. They can be reached at 855.774.4392. Identify yourself with your tax ID #. Whomever calls will need the tax ID/banking info/NPI and all pertinent information.
Note: Per Carelon, if you are offered the option of setting up a paid Zelis account, you do not need to purchase it. You only need to set up a free ePaymentCenter account - you do not need to pay for these services!
Important! Whomever sets up the account will have master Admin privileges and will need to make Jorge Sanchez (jsanchez@healthycampus.com) a user as well.
Carelon has also noted that all historical information for PaySpan will remain in PaySpan. This transition is happening payer by payer and is expected to be finalized by end of September.
